Not only does this give you useful insights, but it's a great opportunity to show your enthusiasm about the job and company. Even if this question doesn't come up in your interview, our experience shows that most employers are more than happy to answer a reasonable number of questions. In the worst case, you may be out of time and don't get to ask questions, but it never hurts to ask.
