1 :: What motivates you as Highway Police Officer?

I've always been motivated by the challenge - in my last role, I was responsible for training our new recruits in firearm care, and wouldn't stop teaching until each recruit passed the course. I know that this job is very fast-paced and I'm more than up for the challenge. In fact, I thrive on it.

2 :: Why did you choose the police career?

Take a review on the following example: "There are fewer and fewer people in the world ready themselves to fight evil for the sake of the society, which should be a work of honor and conscience. I would like to do something like that, something like a lawman can do to protect the security and safety of the society." Remember do not sound too much hyped-up when speaking like this.

And why the Police? But not others like a politician? You can answer this like Police is your career choice because people need protection from evils and crimes in the world and you urge for the safety and security of the society in a direct and positive manner.

3 :: What did you like least about your last job as Highway Police Officer?

There was nothing about my last job that I hated, but I guess there were some things I liked less than others. My previous role involved traveling at least twice a month. While I do love to travel, twice a month was a little exhausting - I didn't like spending quite so much time out of the department. I'm happy to see that this role involves a lot less travel.

A police with a criminal record is just a dream or a wish of a day-dreamer. But it does not mean that the criminals give up trying, so that this question will always be the basic in any police interviews. It is the easy question with any applicants who have no criminal record.

5 :: When were you most satisfied in your job as Highway Police Officer?

I'm a people person. I was always happiest - and most satisfied - when I was interacting with community residents, making sure I was able to meet their needs and giving them the best possible comfort in a tough situation. It was my favorite part of the job, and it showed. Part of the reason I'm interested in this job is that I know I'd have even more interaction with the public, on an even more critical level.

6 :: Can you please explain your management style?

Try to avoid labels. Some of the more common labels, like progressive, salesman or consensus, can have several meanings or descriptions depending on which management expert you listen to. The situational style is safe, because it says you will manage according to the situation, instead of one size fits all.

7 :: How do you explain your gap in employment as Highway Police Officer?

My work is important to me, so I won't be satisfied with any old job. Instead of rushing to accept the first thing that comes my way, I'm taking my time and being selective to make sure my next position is the right one.

12 :: Tell us what is more important to you: the money or the work?

Money is always important, but the work is the most important. There is no better answer.

13 :: What is the difference between goal and ambition?

Goal and ambition can be differentiated with a simple cricket match example-
malinga's goal is to bowl out gambhir and his ambition is to take out 7 wickets at least once in his life.Goal is something which one wants to achieve anyhow and ambition is the hardest thing about the goal which one wants to achieve

14 :: Please tell us about your dream job?

Stay away from a specific job. You cannot win. If you say the job you are contending for is it, you strain credibility. If you say another job is it, you plant the suspicion that you will be dissatisfied with this position if hired.
The best is to stay genetic and say something like: A job where I love the work, like the people, can contribute and can't wait to get to work.

15 :: Tell me if you had enough money to retire right now, would you?

Money is only not important for us. I want to do always work Because I want to prove myself & always try adopt some new challenge.

16 :: How would you describe yourself as a person?

As a person i'm very calm,cool headed & down to earth.But whenever situation requires me to be agressive,i can mould myself to have a diplomatic & aggressive approach.

17 :: Please explain how would you define self-confidence?

An attitude, which allows individuals to have positive yet realistic views of themselves and their situations. A candidate who trusts her own abilities, has a general sense of control in her life, and believes that, within reason, she will be able to do what she wishes, plans, and expects.

18 :: Do you know how confident are you?

Applicant should answer the question instantly and forcefully while maintaining full eye contact. Also pay close attention to body language: Is the applicant's body language congruent with his answer

19 :: Where do you see yourself after 10 years?

with my knowledge and idea i would like to build your company to a reputed state. if it is alredy in reputed state then i would like to maintain yours company name.. i belive i may be in manager post of your company

20 :: Please tell us do you consider yourself successful?

You should always answer yes and briefly explain why. A good explanation is that you have set goals, and you have met some and are on track to achieve the others.

21 :: Please explain your work ethic?

Emphasize benefits to the organization. Things like, determination to get the job done and work hard but enjoy your work are good.

22 :: Explain how do you respond when you receive negative feedback from a customer about you personally? What approach would you take to deal with such a customer?

Applicant should show that they do not let personal ego come in the way of professional behavior. Notice if they can take criticism well and if they see the value of positive criticism.

23 :: Tell me do you think there is a difference between confidence and arrogance?

Applicant should know that confidence is an essential life-affirming character trait, while arrogance is a poor, frightened, and inadequate self-image parading as confidence.

24 :: What kind of job do you see yourself holding five years from now?

I am looking for the job which makes me more productive,in which i can have more interest, a job in which i can
learn more, in which i can be more creative, to work with good environment and with good people and management, if i get the job which have all these things, then i don't think about any jumping..
