Answer:
I attended National Career Education and successfully completed a Phlebotomy course holding a 4.0 grade average all the way through. I took my studies seriously and took advantage of any opportunity to learn. I was fortunate to have an externship at McClellan VA Clinic where I worked with an amazing staff that taught me so much more about blood draws and processing. I worked with patients varying in age, size, and medical conditions. I also volunteered in the lab for 6 months after my extership was completed.
