Dashboard is used for visual representation which are more appealing to the end user. However it has its own limitations and that\\'s why we have Documents where data is restricted to grids and in achieving complex business challenges(specially calculative). Technically Dashboard is created entirely on the Body section where Documents is created using many more sections as per requirement.
