One advantage of public accounting is the exposure to many different types of software packages from many different industries. This can also be true of what we would consider a “job hopper.” However, “job hopping” is becoming a misnomer with company restructuring becoming a norm. Still, having a thorough grasp on many different accounting software packages is a huge plus.
