1 :: What do you know about Nokia Asha?
The Asha platform is a mobile operating system (OS) and computing platform designed for low-end borderline smartphones, based on software from Smarterphone which was acquired by Nokia. The platform inherits UI similarities from Symbian, Maemo and MeeGo, and replaces Series 40 on Nokia's low-end devices.

Yes, we can use your phone to share the internet connection with our Mac either over a USB cable or via Bluetooth.
To use the phone as a USB modem, follow the steps below:
Connect your Asha phone to your Mac using a compatible USB cable. When prompted by the phone to select the USB mode, choose Modem
On the Mac go to System Preferences > Network
If your phone is not visible in the services list, click on the + button, select the phone from the Interfaces dropdown and click Create.
Select the network service corresponding to you Asha phone and click Advanced where you should make the following changes under the Modem tab:
Vendor: Nokia
Model: GPRS (GSM/3G)
APN: enter the name of the internet APN as required by your mobile operator. In many cases this is “internet” but it may vary from operator to operator.
Click Ok and then Apply
Click Connect to initiate the internet connection.
