I have never been a practicing logistics engineer. I have modeled a variety of physics-related problems in C, C++ and Python. I have analyzed large amounts of data, reduced the data using statistical methods, using optimization techniques, linear regression, non-linear best fit and other numerical techniques. What I like about that aspect is that I seem to be a natural computer programmer. I have used computational techniques to solve a multitude of problems. Imagination is a very important aspect to solving problems computationally. Many people think the computer does all the work. Actually, if a program is poorly written, the computer will do very little work because the program is inefficient. Therefore, imagination is important to writing efficient computer codes.

TEU stands for Twenty foot Equivalent Unit. It is a method of calculating vessel load or capacity, in units of containers that are twenty feel long. For example, a 40ft long container measure 2TEUs.
