Electronics Engineering Question:
Explain what is the difference between PLC and DCS?
Answer:
PLC means Programmable Logic Controller, which can be used to control one particluar control system such as a boiler or a injection system.
but DCS is Distributed control syetem, which is used to monitor and control the total process plant. in DCS we have no of controllers connected to a single monitoring system.
