Answer:

More than anything else, I think that management is getting things done through other people. The manager's job is to provide the resources and environment in, which people can work effectively. I try to do this by creating teams, judging people solely on the basic of their performance, distributing work fairly, and empowering workers, to the extent possible, to make their own decisions. I've found that this breeds loyalty and inspires hard work.
