A good interview question for a strategic sourcing manager often involves strategy building. If you can determine how competitive the supplier marketplace is, how supportive your internal stakeholders are and what you can leverage for better pricing or terms, and if you can explain how to reduce complexity, increase productivity, reduce costs and create improvements, you'll be viewed in a positive light.
