Explain me what’s more secure, SSL or HTTPS?
Answers:
Answer #1Trick question: these are not mutually exclusive. Look for a smile like they caught you in the cookie jar. If they’re confused, then this should be for an extremely junior position.
Answer #2HTTPS is a PKI based authentication and encryption protocol. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is one possible protocol that can be used to deliver HTTPS. TLS (Transport Layer Security) can also, and should be used to deliver HTTPS as it much more secure and support more robust Cipher suites. So HTTS is more secure that SSL when using TLS.
